I'd been looking to become a 1st time home owner for quite a while but had some concerns regarding personal credit. I've been self-employed for the past 4 years and I knew I could afford a mortgage, I just wasn't too sure I would qualify for one. Before I started looking for a home I shopped around lenders in the area. A good friend of mine turned me on to Mann Mortgage and a young man in the office named Mike Richardson. I gave Mike a call and we sat down to go over the lending process, leaving nothing to imagination, he was very thorough in explaining the terms and made sure I understood each nuance to this unfamiliar world. Turned out my credit was good enough to land me my first home loan. I found a nice house in NW Reno where my offer was accepted and went through Mann Mortgage for the finances. Great experience working with Mike and the folks over at Mann!

Mike was great to work with! He was very thorough and made sure our loan closed in a timely manner. This was vital for our loan to closing. Our house was bank owned and had a higher backup offer on it so if we hadn't closed in time the bank wouldn't have extended the deadline. We appreciate all he did to make thing happen, would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good person to handle their mortgage.

Michael Richardson and the entire Mann Mortgage team were a dream to work with when we purchased our home. He walked us through the loan process, making sure we were confident each step of the way, and was always right there to answer questions when they cropped up. Outstanding, professional customer service! We went to Michael after making a very poor choice in another loan company that did not give us reliable or truthful information. Michael was extremely professional and all of his information was factual and spot on. He had helpful suggestions and kept us informed on a regular basis. He also kept the other parties involved (realtor, title company, sellers realtor) up to date on the ongoing process. We absolutely recommend Michael for any mortgage loan needs!

I worked with Mike on refinancing our home after being referred to him by a coworker. I originally began this process with Guild, but when they told me their current interest rates I almost fell off my chair. I spoke to Mike and he was able to provide me with a much lower interest rate (3/8 lower). Even though this was the main selling point for me, this is not at all why Mike is the best person to work with on home loans. My credit score was in the high 600's when I first met Mike, which meant I was going to receive a higher interest rate. Mike was able to coach me and walk me through what needed to be done in order to increase my score (now 756). The entire process only took a couple weeks and we were able to lock in a solid rate with competitive fees. Mike made refinancing my home a completely simple process and we are so thankful for all his effort. I will surely recommend him to anyone and everyone that is looking for a home loan in the Reno area.
