Went to cash a check a person had wrote to me on a Commerce Bank account. Drive-thru opened at 8:00 am but would not cash it til 9:00 when the lobby opened since I didn't have an account with them. What is the point of this inconvenience? Had proper I.D.

Thanks for suddenly, with almost no notice, CHARGING ME, to hold my money and pay me 0 interest. This bank absolutely sucks. They act unethically and really could care less about their customers. There's plenty of credit unions and small banks that won't shove fees down your throat. These opportunistic losers will steal from you any chance they get.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Been with them for about 9 months. closing my accounts and moving to a different bank

Closed my account WITHOUT notifying me, and then proceded to tell me it was my fault, and unrecoverable the same week I was supposed to have a paycheck direct deposited and my tax return deposited. F**k me, right?

I've used Commerce Bank for nearly 10 years now. I've never had any problems with them. They are always friendly when I drive through or have to go in. Love them!
