Credit Union ONE in Grand Rapids, MI

Horrible customer service. If you are looking for lending - look somewhere else! They do not value the members, and treat people like numbers.

I have my car loan through this financial institution and they are the worst! They added $4K to my loan because I didn't have the correct language on my insurance which I had submitted to their website... When I called of course no one knew what I was taking about and now my loan went up $42. My favorite part is that they took this new amount out without consent!! Use Ally or other reputable institutions, credit union one is literally the worst!!

I was used by this credit union. The people I talked to were very rude and condescending. Communication lacks dramatically between employees. Now I have no car, no money, really bad credit, and hurt self esteem. I'm not going to say to others not to do business with Credit Union One. But I will say, please do research and read the reviews carefully before making a decision about banking. My life is very messed up now due to Credit Union One's business practices. And I know I am not the only one, which is sad being CUO is a "small business for the people by the people..." Makes me wonder why they are deciding to join another credit union...

It takes forever to get in touch with them. You can only call the 1 800 number. I was on hold for 30 minutes, and then was disconnected 3 times. It took me 2 days before I finally got to tslk to someone.

I love this place and all the staff, they are awesome. They go out of their way to do anything they can to help you with anything you need. I have been with this credit union for years. Keep up the good work, love you guys.
