My mortgage was sold to Standard after the original company (Countrywide) went under. I have been consistently frustrated and disappointed by their poor customer service. It is difficult to even get a service representative on the phone, and even then they are incredibly unhelpful. Even going into their office is frustrating. I honestly can't imagine how they manage to stay in business given the fact that they are so unresponsive to their customers.
