Great experience with First Commonwealth. My loan officer was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was on top of everything and even helped me close and get in my house over a week earlier than expected. He dealt directly with the under writers to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Would definitely recommend!

Bill was my loan officer, he went above and beyond to help me get into my first home. When I initially started looking for a home I was frustrated with the fact that most places said I needed at least 3% as a down payment. Bill found me a program that allowed me to only put 1% down. My dream of home ownership was finally coming true. This program was easy to apply for, I just needed to have good credit, a stable income and take a short class online. Throughout the whole process Bill explained every detail and answered any questions I had. Most people get frustrated with banks saying you have to have at least 20% down, working with First Commonwealth Mortgage was a pleasure and I would recommend them to anyone who thinks their dream of homeownership is out of reach, it is not with them. Now I am saving money and have something to call my own.
