It was alot of work but a smooth transition very happy and please Freddie Bates is the best.

Positives: They were able to get me a pretty good rate on my first mortgage. Negatives: Slow to respond when it was a pressing issue. The actual agent (who was the supervising manager of his branch) was not very professional most of the time (even sitting on his phone and slouching in his chair during the closing). Huge lack of communication between the agents/assistants/client (there was a family issue that came up with my agent, and the people that took over during the time that he had to step away didn't seem to know anything about my process, what had been discussed, what I needed, etc. E-mail responses were short, sweet, and not helpful - meaning I had to either send several e-mails to possibly get my answers, or I had to go through my realtor to get answers. Not very helpful for a first-time-homebuyer who has no idea how the whole homeowner thing works. My realtor was way more helpful. If you know how home buying works and are not worried about getting things answered or taken care of very fast, but you are just looking for a good rate, this company is pretty good. However, I don't think I would suggest them for a first-time-homebuyer who needs any help or direction.
