Had a great experience at the time I purchased my first house. One year later, I find that my escrow payment was extremely underestimated. Success Mortgage, who the Heckman Group works with, had estimated my property tax to be almost $3,000 less, resulting in an end of the year escrow shortage that I now have to pay up front to my new mortgage company (who Success sold it to). I sent an email explaining my situation to the Heckman Group 3 days ago and have not received a response. I am very disappointed.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about dreadful the home buying process was, but I had also heard some good stories as well. I didn't know what to expect. Luckily I chose to go through the process with The Heckman Group. They were amazing through the whole process. They helped me understand the process and how it works. They were very personable and a pleasure to speak with. They kept me updated throughout the whole process. I spoke to both Chuck and a lender recommended by my realtor before signing a contract to purchase my home. I felt more comfortable with Chuck, as he was a straight-shooter, clearly knowledgeable and seemed trustworthy. After choosing the lender recommended by my realtor and experiencing problems, I spoke with Chuck again, who again proved to be spot on with his knowledge of the process. Chuck promised he could close my loan in 3 weeks if I wanted to switch lenders, and he and Kristina (processor) OVER-DELIVERED and closed it in 2 weeks! Chuck and Kristina were such an absolute joy to work with, I'd recommend them to anyone...without a doubt!! :)
