Make sure to ask for a member ID card if you plan on using a shared branch to make transactions easier. Because they do not give temporary checks make sure to get a direct deposit / ACH letter that has your account number and bank routing number on it for direct deposit and services like PayPal. A good positive for this credit union, no direct deposit required and no POS swipe requirements and no minimum balance requirement for basic free checking. 4 free withdrawals at Publix Presto ATM's per month are also included with basic checking.
