Terrible banker services. Every time is an hour wait. UNREASONABLE for people with full time jobs and things to do.

I used Suncoast for a few years, and my experience is mixed. I had a few issues with their banking services: 1. Online support is not available all the time, they do maintenance a lot and the system is down over the weekend every few months 2. I moved out of state and it took a while to close my account, during that time I did not use my account, knowing that we were closing it. We were unable to cancel few places that we had set up for auto-pay, and Suncoast let these places withdraw money even though there was a $0 balance. Now we owe $xx in overdraft fees because Suncoast allows places to run auto-pay when there is no money in the account. (I have another bank that does not let charges go through when there is $0 balance, even if it is auto-pay) 3. It is very difficult to contact the bank unless you are a member in good standing. We had to request them to send us a paper statement explaining why we owed so much. They restricted access to view the statement online and just said that we owe $xxx. How can I pay my balance when they won't let me see the charges? We cannot access our info online, and the paper statement they sent does not match what they said over the phone. Seems a bit fishy to me. Using the bank day to day was fine, having no money in the account or trying to close out an account is very difficult, and much harder than it should be.

Great and friendly tellers. Could be a little quicker.
