TransUnion in Denver, CO

Allow me to lodge a complaint about Transunion's website -- not necessarily their office in Denver, or any other city. My displeasure stems from numerous visits online. Every time I try to lift my credit freeze, or to do any other similar transaction, I will run through all the questions (including my credit card info for payment of my transaction) and answer them perfectly. Then I will go to hit the "Continue" button. Voila! Up pops a window with one of their promotional offers. I don't want the offer. I just want to finish my transaction, but no, unless I subscribe to their offer I cannot "Continue" with my transaction and there is no way to back out of their offer promotion window. I have to cancel the whole thing. Then, to add insult, when I review my credit card statement a few days later I notice they have wrongly charged my credit card $29.95 to sign up for some sort of credit monitoring, or something. Yeah, right, like I'm going to want them to monitor my credit when they are stealing from me? I think not. This type of thing has happened to me every single time I have tried to do business with them. This is a credit bureau and you cannot avoid having to do business with them, but unfortunately, this is what one must go through if he wants to keep abreast of their credit reports. When I'm dead and gone should the Lord tarry, then there shall remain a perpetual smile upon my face from not having to deal any longer with credit bureaus -- any credit bureaus -- because Experian and Equifax are equally slimy in their own inimitable ways.

I agree with both of the previous reviews. Transunion should be shut down and burned to the ground. For the last 46 years I have been alive, these people have never had accurate credit reports. In most cases, hundreds of points different than other credit reports from other companies like Experian. An absolutely worthless credit company. I have always had excellent credit, and these people gave me a poor rating, when other companies gave me an excellent score (755). These people should be shut down and sued till they are bankrupt.
