This bank is by far the worst bank I have ever had to go to. In 3 visits, my experience each time was sub-par to say the least. Let's just discuss what occurred today though. I went in for a simple notary. After waiting 30 min. the branch supervisor Eric Taylor was not only unprofessional, but he attempted to notarize my document illegally. I provided an original document needing notary, he then copied it and stamped the copy. I said this is not going to work, the original document needs notary. He then says to me, "This is how we're going to do it or you can do it somewhere else!" First off, that is not how notaries work, you can't notarize a copy. I will be going above his head once I find the supervisor and trust me, maybe their notary privileges will be revoked as they don't know how to do it the right way.

are you kidding they have got to be the worst service for any bank. check there bank charges compare to other banks. people common sense says not to bank at tcf.

I had great customer service! I had a problem with an old account a week ago and where i thought I was going to have to play phone tag it was taken care of then and there.
