Pikes Peak Credit Union in Colorado Springs, CO

This credit union gives very poor service and they do not use current methods for managing your account. After I financed my car through them I tried to set up automatic payments through my bank account. They had me fill out a paper form and mail it to them. After a month I received a notice that my account was past due so I went to the location to find out why they weren't automatically withdrawing. They claimed to not have received my paperwork. I didn't mind because that happens occasionally. So I filled out another set of forms in person this time and gave it to them at the location. The next month I got another notification saying that my account was past due so I went in again and they told me that they had no records of my auto payment paperwork. I figured it wasn't a big deal, maybe someone lost it. I again filled out the paperwork and gave it to them in person. For a third time they didn't process my automatic withdraw. This time however they reported the lack of payment against my credit score. So I decided to go in and point out that three times I had requested they set up automatic withdraw and that they shouldn't have reported me. Keep in mind that I am a polite person and I was in no way rude to the teller when I spoke to her. I simply asked if she could speak with the branch manager on my behalf and explain what happened and if they would be willing to retract the negative mark on my credit. The teller went into her manager's office and I could hear from the front room as the manager was (profanely) yelling at how it isn't their fault that I wasn't paying my account. Even if they were unwilling to make their mistake right I would have given them a more favorable review. However, because the manager was so vulgar and unwilling to even speak with me in person I cannot in good conscience suggest anyone use this establishment.

My auto loan got sent here, and my experiance has been horrible! The loan officers are rude and what they say goes. I thought this credit union would have been a little bit better.I've only had my vehicle about 2 months and I will most likely refinance through the CREDIT UNION OF COLORADO.

I have had this bank since 2001. Great, friendly people that know your name. Questions, loans, and transactions always handled quickly,easy and comfortably.

Very disappointed with this bank, I have been a member for over 15years and am now switchng to Ent. The tellers are very friendly but the rest of the staff is very unprofessional. Shannon is very condescending and has no phone etiquette. This buisness is also very biased when it comes to loans , they will deny you despite fantastic credit and low debt to income ratio then refuse to explain why you were denied.

I am thankful for PPCU! All of the staff are always helpful and friendly. After banking with them for over 10 years only a couple of mistakes have happened and they are always fixed immediately!
