Review SoFi

I initially received misleading customer service, but re-applied with a new application and all went smooth. Happy so far, just be sure to keep good notes of your communications if anything is out of the ordinary.

They describe me every thing but they keep on getting more n more information from me. But after a week they called me about my approval of my loan.

SoFi is not only a finance organization, it also provides a wonderful social component which allows members to connect, as well as provide wealth management and career development opportunities. I've attended two events so far and they have exceeded my expectations. We have the mortgage product and they were by far, hands down, the best rates. Customer Service was also amazing - they went above and beyond and answered questions late on Friday nights.

SoFi has been a great loan servicer so far. Refinanced a couple of my college loans around a year ago and since then things have gone well with SoFi. They send out neat little care packages to their customers that I appreciate. They are certainly setting a standard with how loan providers should operate. They actually have some concern for the customers that they service. Approval and transfer process took me 1 week. I would recommend them for any of your loan needs. Was recently invited to one of their community gatherings in Jacksonville that I'd gladly do again without hesitation. It was a free dinner covered by SoFi where local customers could get together and hang out and eat and meet a SoFi rep and ask questions if we wanted to. Or just meet new people and enjoy a night out at a nice restaurant. They hosted it at Taverna which was an excellent spot to have this at. They gave us all some small swag on our way out. One of which was their t-shirts which I love. I don't mind that it has the SoFi logo on it. The shirts are nice and so soft. I've got 2 or 3 of them and enjoy wearing them around. Only issue I've had is that you can't take out a personal loan with SoFi if it will pay for any post-secondary education. I was going to use one to refinance a loan in my dad's name, but ultimately I can't because their personal loans don't allow it.

I think everyone likes saving money, and SoFi allows you to do that easily and while having some fun. I've been straddled with student loans for a while, and have always looked for ways to cut down the cost. Consolidation was a good start, but joining SoFi was even better. With the really low interest rates, great customer service, community events and perks, referral program, and not to mention my employer even helps subsidize my interest through a partnership with SoFi...I wonder why I'd take my loans anywhere else. Plus they are expanding into mortgages and wealth management, so I also appreciate there being support for other upcoming financial decisions in my life.
