Bait and Switch When applying for a loan, I spent several phone calls playing with the number and settling on a rate. After double checking, I purchased a car and went into a SDCCU branch to finalize the loan. Upon finishing the paperwork, and only after paying to become a member and establish an account, the bank then changed my rate over 2.5%. Classic bait and switch

Not impressed. They are not a good place to open a business account. For personal banking they are much better.

Never expect them to answer the phone. And if you try to get an agent via loans or something else, that person will not help you.
