DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE THIFES! GRAND THEFT I needed to pay a bill and pawned a set of Jade earing's. Cindy the owner told me that they where worth $1,000.00 and gave me a loan of $100.00 I had a jeweler apprise them before I pawned then and he told me the valued of the earing's at $4,000.00 but I needed the money and I Cindy said that the value was $1,000.00 at that point I just needed the money and felt they would be safe. I sent in a payment of $29.50 to pay the interest as I was out of town and needed sometime to get back to San Diego to pick them up. I called to see if they received the money order as I could not get my mail to see if they singed the Certified mail receipt. I was told that the earrings where in the display case? I was more then upset and asked for the owner to call me as she was not at the store. Cindy never called me back and I called her several times and when Theresa would as who I was she would tell me sorry Cindy was not in. My wife called her from a blocked number and used her maiden name just after I called and got Cindy on the phone. My wife handed me the phone and I told Cindy who I was and she told me that she sold my Jade earrings that morning to a Jade dealer, I WAS SICK to hear this! I Asked her why and she said one of her employees had put them out in the case by accident and she would call the Jade dealer to get them back and that she would call me ASAP. A few days went by and no call from her. WHAT A LIE she told me that she sold them to the Jade dealer and that she did get my payment and would try to get them back. a few days later I called her back and she just hung up on me. I have been out of state working and could not get back until now to file a law suit small claims. Here it is 2 years later and I called and Theresa answered the phone I gave he the loan number and she asked how can I help you, I advised her that I am filing complaint to the Attorney Generals office as I found out from a other pawn shop in California that what Cindy did was GRAND THEFT! she told me to FO and hung up. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!
