tried to sell a gold necklace and they offered me $247 so i ask them how much it weighted but the person said they can not give out the numbers be cause i can compare with other shops, why not? i was skeptical about the offer so i took it to pawnshop and weighted it and came out it was worth about $357 only offers like 70% of what it is? and did not come honest or clean at the desk? it is not much of money but i felt like i was about to get cheated by these people so i backed out my recommendation is go to jewelry district instead of this nonsense.

Cool. I thought pawnshops were for selling stuff. Today I was trying to sell my gold pocket watch my grandfather gave to me and found out I could borrow money on it at Kings and get it back. I really didn't wanna sell it because it was my grandfathers but I really needed the money to fix my car so I can get to work without having to bum a ride off my neighbor. Heck they charge less than my credit card company charges me.
