The collection staff especially SARA is just the most rude person to deal with, she is very arrogant and isnt happy until she makes you feel like you are the worst member at their Credit Union, MICHELLE is another one. I have had nothing but issues after issues with these two and honestly they need to be terminated ! If everyone paid their bills on time there would be no need for collectors, right ? The collectors need to learn to "Hear Me, Know Me, Help Me" and show the same kind of respect and empathy that they would show their own family. I believe that Matt and Ms. Susan Stansberry need to seriously investigate the way that these employees address the members on the phone before someone files a lawsuit against the Credit Union. Also, they threaten to take action against you (i.e. ruin your credit when they don't even have the capability to do so, this is a VIOLATION ! Stand up for your rights ... if you have any issues with the collection department whatsoever go file a complaint with the CFPB (Consumer Federal Protection Bureau) a few of these complaints and Im sure they will open their eyes ! And also $20 to make a payment ? You have got to be KIDDING ! Don't they think that its better to get someones account current ??? I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful (I have only used the Speedway & Alvernon location). My only complaint, which is actually directed at most (if not all) credit unions in the state, is that fees are a bit higher and services & hours are more limited than those in the state from which I came. Having said that, TFCU is far, far better than any bank without a doubt. I have no reason to look elsewhere.

I've had no issues with TFCU since I've been a member (starting in 2009). Some of their services (like cashier's checks) are expensive, but it's easy enough to go to Fry's or Wal-Mart for money orders instead. They're perfect for my basic banking/credit card needs. I appreciate not having over-draft fees from the checking account. All the branch locations that i've been to have been friendly and helpful, and it's uncommon to wait long periods of time (whether for the tellers or office personnel).

Been using TFCU for 50 yrs. the staff is always pleasant and helpful. The banking experience has always outperformed any of the regular banks! The rates, investment and free checking has kept me here and I don't intend to change.

Outrageously bad service. had me wait 20 min for a call center, then they could not give me the information Asked them to transfer me directly to the bank. Never happened and i had to listen to their awful muzak. Never got through.
