Quicken Loans in Scottsdale, AZ

Horrible customer service. I called to begin the process of a jumbo loan refinance. About 10 minutes into the call, the representative informed me that he needed to drop in 5 minutes to attend a meeting! He asked if i could call back in an hour. I asked to speak to his manager, who offered to transfer me to another rep. The first rep came back on the call and told me that he was unable to transfer me in 3 minutes so I would need to call back. I'm assuming they work on commission and this guy didn't want to give up a hefty commission to another rep. In the end, this company just lost my business because they prioritize internal meetings over customer service. Absolutely astounding...

Great company to work with refinancing my home! I have nothing but positive things to say about Quicken Loans as they provided me with awesome customer service and Seth who was the one I dealt with closing the loan and discussing what documents I needed to upload on the website was more that cool and down to earth and helped me close my refinance in 11 days! The one thing that helped close so fast is have your documents in order and get it to them promptly. I was lucky to have all my info digitized and my accountant had all my prior tax information digitized as well. Overall hands down great company and painless process. Will definitely be doing more business in the future with them.

My husband and I decided to use Quicken loans and I cannot tell you how blessed we feel that we did. The loan process was great and our loan processor Marco Andrade was very knowledgeable and his follow up was superb. Thank you Marco Andrade, Heather Levine for your help. We will definitely use QL again for future purchases.

I had a terrible experience with Quicken Loans trying to get a mortgage. We went with them because they had the lowest rate of the handful of places we looked at. Perhaps we should have looked at more options before settling. I got the impression they did not care about us one bit nor did I feel like they saw us as people. They told my husband his salary alone qualified for the loan and the process would be easier to just use his information. I guarantee you it was more difficult because I assume his salary just barely qualified and because of it they badgered the heck out of us for documents and proof for every little thing. They were so nagging and nitpicky and kept coming back with requests that three days before closing we were threatened with not being able to get the loan unless we provided documents within the next three hours. Luckily we got them in time but having to go through that I felt was unnecessary. A lot of their badgering had to deal with them wanting information about my finances which they didn’t want two months prior because it would “be easier”. The fact that they assumed my finances didn’t matter at the starts shows extreme ineptitude and lack of organization. Further, at one point they even asked me to prove my residency because for some undisclosed reason they thought I didn’t live with my husband. One other annoyance was we had to provide a receipt at one point during all this and we received an electronic document with official company letterhead saying the payment was received and processed but apparently that wasn’t good enough proof we paid. We had to provide additional information from the bank that we paid this certain transaction. That only scratches the surface of the headaches. Overall, it was a very stressful, infuriating process and I will never use these people again and do not recommend them.

Quicken was an amazing experience. Perfect customer service and 2 weeks to do a VA refinance for our home. Saved us lots of money and time!
